MY real political issues PEOPLE EMPOWERMENT PAGE LINKSThe idea that Transnational operating corporations should be empowered, through global economic policymaking, to exploit the noncompetitive production cost differentials between the Developed and the Developing countries, --is absurd. The corporate exploitation of the dirt cheap production countries, --simply imbalances the per capita earning power of the Demand Side of nearly all economies of both the Developed and the Developing countries, and therefore, in the mid and long term nearly everyone becomes a loser, --because the corporations also lose the Demand Side of their markets. If we want sustainable economic growth then we must have the broadest possible per capita growth in real earning power on a worldwide basis.
We also need much stricter enforcement of antitrust laws to prevent and to break up all the true monopoly structures, but not that of Microsoft! Our government is allowing horrendous mergers, of which the vertical integration mergers are the worst models.
Additionally, we must learn the lesson that low interest rates to competitors on the Supply Side are essential for effective competition in pricing and in providing more than adequate supplies to meet consumer demands, which ameliorates the threat of inflation at its source.
We could have a much more stable and sustainable national and global economies without any serious business down cycles, --but it takes effective government economic policy making to bring about these essential realities. Yes, it is that simple, --and everyone becomes a winner as we dump the corporate global economic, --Win-Lose, Zero-Sum Game and replace it with a win win paradigm.
